Project 1
SketchBook and Journal
The main objectives of this project were
- to train us students to be observant to the surrounding.
- to intsil the culture of documenting as part of the learning process in architectural eduation
- to enhance the students graphic communication skills in capturing important details and the spirit of the place
The sketchbook is comprises of total 10 sketches including basic arhitectural drawings (plans, sections, elevations etc) and 2 sketeches from the from the catergories; The Genius Loci, Poetic Quality, Cultural Attributes, and Techinical/construction details
This Project taught me to identify architectural historic structure and capture the tangible and intangible essence that is contained within the architectural realm.

Project 2
Measured Drawing
This project aims to produce a set of measured drawings of historical buildings or structures in a specific location. A report containing important and historical information of the buildings will complement the drawings. It is an on-site exercise where students are required to execute fieldwork and hands-on measurement exercise
In a group of 24 students we are given to measure the Tzu Chi Merit House in Ipoh, taking all physical information of the building from its location to spatial layout as well as the details.
Upon completion of this project i was able to recommend appropriate method of architectural historic documentation, and recognise and recall techniques of measured drawing and documentation. Moreover, i was able to the as-built constructions, architectural details and elements, and interpret historic architectural element, structure and building,

Project 3
Report and Vedio on Measured Building
The main objectives of this project are to document the significance of the building to accompany measured drawings, and enable us to analyse the relationship between architecture and the significance of the building as well as its inhabitation.
Within the same group, we were given to produce an indepth report and a 3-5 minute video on the HIstory and Architecuture of Tzu Chi Merit House.
This specific project gave me the ability to explain the application of architectural historic documents and describe architectural cultural heritage. Furthermore, i was able to elaborate the relationship between architecture and the significance of the building as well as its inhabitaion.
